The Speed Queen Laundromat Saint-Rémi is a self-service launderette at 13 esplanade Fléchambault, in the Saint-Remi district of Reims, a short walk from the Basilica of Saint-Remi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Open since 2018, it welcomes customers every day from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm, and you can finish your wash and dry inside until 10 pm.
The Speed Queen washers of 9, 10 and 18 kg wash from 30 to 90 °C. The 18 kg machine takes a double duvet, blankets or curtains in one cycle for €10. The 16 kg dryers cost €1.20 per 9 minutes. An 18 kg washer and a dryer are reserved for pet bedding.
Parking is easy all around the esplanade Fléchambault. Travellers in a motorhome, a rented flat or on a Champagne tour use it as much as the people of Saint-Remi and Barbâtre. A La Poste Pickup locker also lets you collect or send a parcel while your laundry runs.

What are the opening hours of the Saint-Rémi laundromat?
Every day, Sundays included, from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm. The doors lock at 8:30 pm, but if you are already inside you can finish washing and drying until 10 pm.
How much does a machine cost?
A wash costs €5 in a 9 or 10 kg washer and €10 in the 18 kg washer. Drying costs €1.20 per 9 minutes or €2.40 per 15 minutes, in 16 kg dryers.
Can I wash a duvet here?
Yes. The 18 kg washer takes a double duvet, blankets, curtains or a sleeping bag in one cycle, for €10. Then dry it in a 16 kg dryer: a thick duvet often needs several cycles, so check it is dry all the way through.
Do I need to bring detergent?
You can bring your own or buy products at the payment terminal: detergent €1.20, fabric softener €0.60, stain remover €1.20.
Are there instructions in English?
Yes, the instructions are displayed in French and English in the laundromat. Choose your machine, pay at the terminal and press start.
Can I wash my dog’s or cat’s bedding?
Yes. Washer no. 7 (18 kg, €10) and dryer no. 9 (€1.20 per 9 minutes) are reserved for pet bedding: baskets, blankets, rugs. For pet items and shoes, only use the machines marked for them.
How do I pay?
At the terminal in the middle of the laundromat: bank card, contactless or cash, change given. A rechargeable loyalty card is available at the terminal for €5.
